Day 09 - Willkommen nach Warnemünde, Germany

Pulled into the port city of Warnemünde, Germany very early this morning.

At the ungodly hour of 6AM, 652 of the 920 passengers aboard our cruise ship disembarked to take a 2 1/2 hour train ride (each way) to/from Berlin to visit for a few brief hours. For obvious reasons to anybody who knows us, we were not among them.

Instead, after a leisurely breakfast, we took a short bus ride to downtown Rostock to tour the old parts of the city.

After the tour we came back to the ship, then out again to check out Warnemünde harbor. Departing this evening, next port of call is Gdańsk, Poland...


Willkommen nach Rostock!
