Berlin Reunion 2005
A good time was had by all at the Annual Berlin Air Force Reunion held on Saturday, 26 February 2005 at the none other than Blob's Park in bustling downtown Jessup, Maryland. A slightly smaller group of about 25 ex-Berliners and associates made the reunion this year. The usual local crowd was in attendance with a few long distance travelers coming in from Pennsylvania, New York, Michigan, and even California.

Much Blob's beer was getrunken and vast quantities of Blob's wienerschnitzel and jaegerschnitzel were gegessen. Food and drink were accompanied by occasionally loud, German-like music provided by the in-resident "Rheinlanders." To the relief of many, Mike "Whiskey" Walker left his killer camera strobe light at home this year (at the direction of Homeland Security and the Air Traffic Control Center at nearby BWI Airport).

We made an effort to take more pictures this year but still managed to miss a few people for which I apologize. Some of those we did "capture for immortality" are provided below, enjoy!

The traditional German bierhall shark! Oddly enough, this fine specimen is mounted directly behind the band. The significance of this placement is not clear but it IS interesting...
