Berlin Reunion 2006
Another annual Berlin Air Force Reunion, another good time had by all! As always this year's reunion was held on the last Saturday in February (Feb 25) at that famous pseudo-Bavarian beer hall known as Blob's Park in bustling downtown Jessup, Maryland. A surprise awaited those who attended this year in the form of a Bavarian (?) Fasching Party hosted by Blob's. This special activity included semi-authentic Bavarian dancers, some serious Bavarian singing and yodeling, and many interestingly costumed participants. I believe King Kong and his female companion were crowned Herr und Frau Fasching.

We had nearly 30 ex-Berliners and associates at the reunion this year. Many of the usual local characters but a few nice surprises too. The traveler award this year clearly has to go to Art Crane who just happened to be TDY back to the area from BERLIN of all places. Joe Petrisko gets an honorable mention for his planned move to South America!

It could have been the beer but the food at least looked alot better than in previous years. Quantities of both beer and foodstuffs remained impressive. Mike Walker didn't attend so we were spared from his killer camera strobe but Denise Kuenzel almost made up for it with her multi-strobe blitzcamera! We received another complaint from the Air Traffic Control Center at nearby BWI airport... :)

As usual we made an effort to take pictures of everybody but we know we missed some folks. Below are some pictures we did manage to sneak in!
