Day 04 - Touring around Bergen, Norway

Day 4 of the cruise was in the port city of Bergen.  We took the city tour this morning. This included a ride up to the top of Mt. Floen on a cog train, a tour of the Hanseatic Museum, and a driving tour through the city.

We got back on the ship in the afternoon.  There was time for a quick workout and a dip in the pool before afternoon tea and dinner. The weather continued to cooperate, a little cloudy with temperatures in the high 70s...

Boarding the cog train for the ride up to Mt. Floen, they call this one "Red Riding Hood"...

Where are we?

One of the (many) famous Mt. Floen goats, they are tagged and very well fed.

Another Mt. Floen goat?  There were any number of hiking trails leading up to Mt. Floen, we checked out a couple of them.

The entrance to the Hanseatic League Museum.

Inside the Hanseatic League Museum.  Paintings of past Guild Masters and/or ship captains.

Inside the Hanseatic League Museum.  Quarters for a Guild Master, the important folks got windows...

Driving tour.  Believe it or not, this is the local Starbucks in Bergen...

Driving tour.  A pretty gazebo with flowers in the city square.

Back on the ship.  This was one of the dining rooms...

... and this was part of diner.  Food aboard was excellent, especially in the "specialty" restaurants.
